'Yant' is considered an art and cultural heritage that has been passed down for a long time and is globally recognized. In earlier times, yant was viewed negatively or seen as symbolic according to occult beliefs. However, yant has actually been decoded and its moral meanings used to create numerals and patterns similar to modern graphics. Apart from being used for body decorations and tattoos, yant is also crafted into various sacred objects that can be conveniently carried, as if bringing the presence of Buddha close to oneself. Inspired by this, the streetwear brand MURICO has drawn inspiration from the unique yant of Phra Ajarn Ekkalak at Wat Phutthaphom Yan, interpreting the highest human desires through Buddhist virtues: security in uncertainty, financial prosperity, compassionate support, and happiness and success. This has led to the creation of the "Be Wise in Time" collection, featuring 4 yants and 4 Buddhist virtues embedded in life teachings.
"Front: The word 'NAMO' (นะโม) is written, which in Japanese comes from 'Namo Buddhaya', meaning to commemorate the Buddha. On the back, it is screen-printed with the English words 'NAMO BUDDHAYA'."
"Front: Screen-printed with the English phrase 'The more you give, The more you get,' which is derived from the teaching of Phra Plad Ek Laksan. This teaching is also reflected in the Thai phrase 'ยิ่งให้ยิ่งได้' ('Ying Hai Ying Dai'), meaning 'The more you give, the more you receive.'
Back: Derived from the chant 'NA CHA LI TI,' it is a word in Pali language that signifies the heart of Phra Siwalee, who is renowned for fortune and prosperity."
Metta: On the front, there is a heart pattern on the left chest area, with the English phrase 'Phrabuddha nimittang metta jittang buddho buddho' derived from the Pali language, meaning 'Metta, the mind of Buddha, Buddha, Buddha.' It is surrounded by a yant.
On the back, "Use your metta as a weapon," which means a fundamental teaching to be remembered at all times.
On the front, it is screen-printed with the English phrase "FIVE PRECEPTS," which means the five ethical precepts that are fundamental teachings widely recognized and accepted globally. On the back, there is screen-printed text in Chinese and Bali , both meaning Five Precepts, which are the recitation verses of the Five Precepts.
