Wat Pa Khlong 11 or Kam Chanod 2, is believed to be a place that connects the underwater world (Naga) with the human world
The main feature of this place is the large statues of the Naga in four directions surrounding a traditional Thai-style teak wood temple in the middle of a water pond. In addition to the beauty of the architectural sculptures, people commonly visit to pray for luck, success in trade, and various business ventures. There are five main spots for making offerings and prayers here.
Spot 1: Phra Sivali to pave the way for blessings, attract fortune and wealth, and bring good opportunities into your life. Use 3 joss sticks
Spot 2: Pray to Father Pu Naga Srisuttho and Mother YaNakinisripathumma. For this offering, use 5 joss sticks and recite a prayer, dedicating the merit to Father Pu and Mother Ya. Then, sincerely ask for one specific wish.
Spot3: the temple in the middle of the water, which is surrounded by Naga statues in all four directions. Afterwards, continue by paying respects to the Naga statues in all four directions around the temple. Each direction is believed to bring blessings in different aspects, as follows
- Phaya Anantanakkharat: Pray for blessings in trade and wealth.
- Phaya Ekkarag Pattanakharat: Request blessings for progress and overcoming obstacles
- Phaya Thinna Nakkharat: Seek blessings for family harmony and good relationships
- Phaya Suphok Nakkharat: Request blessings for protection from dangers and various obstacles.
The highlight spot, believed to be akin to the gate of the celestial realm, focuses on meditation and prayer for blessings related to wealth and love.
